App access

RetroBounce does not require login credentials. The app opens directly to the main experience.

Google Play review notes

Android package: com.vei.retrobounce. Version: 1.1.1. The app contains ads through Google Mobile Ads and should be declared as containing ads in Play Console.

The global idle mode is optional. To test it, reviewers need to grant Android's "Display over other apps" permission and enable the "RetroBounce inactivity" accessibility service. RetroBounce shows a prominent in-app disclosure before opening Android accessibility settings.

Closed testing improvements

Based on tester feedback, RetroBounce added a first-run walkthrough, clearer permission guidance, a direct feedback email action, and a Play Store rating action from inside the app.

The Play Store listing assets should highlight the global idle overlay, visual presets, custom logo support, and transparent permission flow.

Testing the global idle feature

Open RetroBounce, enable the global idle mode, grant Android's "Display over other apps" permission, and enable the "RetroBounce inactivity" accessibility service. The app will show a visible foreground notification while this feature is active.

Permissions used

RetroBounce uses overlay permission to display the animation over other apps, accessibility events to detect user activity for the idle timer, foreground service permission for the ongoing idle monitor, and internet access for Google Mobile Ads.

The accessibility service is not used to retrieve window content, read screen text, take screenshots, record audio, control other apps, or perform automated actions.

Feedback and ratings

The app includes feedback and rating actions in the About area. Feedback emails are sent to support@vei.solutions. The rating action uses Google Play's review flow when available and falls back to the Play Store listing if needed.

Data deletion

RetroBounce has no app account system. Users can delete local data by removing the custom logo, clearing app storage in Android settings, or uninstalling the app. See the Data Deletion page for details.
